INTACT/FRAGMENTARY

We often perceive individual parts as incomplete or flawed when viewed in isolation. However, I see each part as a complete entity in its own right—unique, expressive, and essential. My inspiration stems from burnt paper, whose scorched edges and unpredictable textures reveal a different kind of beauty, one born from imperfection and transformation. Though seemingly damaged, these forms embody resilience and aesthetic potential. In this piece, I aim to create a "complete part" neckpiece by assembling fragmented elements and intertwining them with metal lines, allowing each component to contribute to a harmonious and expressive whole.
